Homework for Mrs. Fey's Classes ~ Nov. 4~8th , 2013

Monday- Day 2 ( My homeroom has Music)
Reading-#1 Put vocab words for Coyote School News into a paragraph. Please underline each word used.  The paragraph should be written in the Reading composition notebook.
Spelling- Write words for week 3 three times each. Test will be on Thursday
Grammar- No homework, we are learning about irregular plural nouns this week. The test will be on Thursday
Social Studies- Study definitions for Lesson 2, there will be a quiz on Friday. Any student who did not finish looking up definitions in school needs to finish looking them up for homework.  Also, There was a paper sent home explaining the next Social Studies project on constructing an Indian dwelling. This form needs to be signed by a parent and returned by Nov. 13. The project is due on Nov. 20th

Tuesday- Day 3 ( My homeroom has Computers)
Reading-#2 Review vocab words, Complete Reading Comprehension sheet on the transcontinental railroad.  All comprehension worksheets can be found on the website k12reader.com
Grammar- none
Social Studies- make sure all Lesson 2 words have been looked up and defined. Study these words to prepare for the quiz on Friday.   Please begin thinking about/working on Indian Dwelling Project due on Nov. 20.  You will need to use your Social Studies book to do this project.  A sheet listing directions was sent home with each student to be signed by a parent and returned by Nov. 8th

Wednesday- Day 4 (My homeroom has Art)
Language- Complete page 129

Thursday- Day 5 ( My homeroom has Library)
Reading-Review vocab and the side of trifold completed in class
Grammar-none ***Quiz today***
Social Studies- Study vocab and worksheet for quiz tomorrow, Indian Dwelling Project due on the 20th
Spelling***Test today***


Friday- Day 1 (My homeroom has Gym)
Social Studies- Parent signature portion of Indian Dwelling instructions  instruction sheet needs to be turned in today. Work on Indian Dwelling Project.  It is due on the 20th.  You may need your book to complete this. Follow the instructions that were sent home.
