In the event we have ANOTHER day off due to the weather.......the students have been assigned some extra work so we don't fall too far behind in preparation for the PSSA's!
Reading: Please read "How Night Came from the Sea" Put story vocab words into a paragraph. The words can be found on the Family Times Newsletter which was sent home today. Please also complete the following workbook pages: pgs 126 and 127 in the blue Reading Practice book
Grammar- we are learning about Helping and Main Verbs. Please complete pg.46 in the Grammar practice book
Spelling- Study list #4
Social Studies- Read Lesson 4 , Life on the PA Frontier pgs. 94-97 Make sure Vocab, People and Places are looked up on pg.94. Time Line project is due on Thursday, Feb. 6th. Please follow rubric sent home with the students. An example of a time line can be found in the Soc. Studies book on pgs. 84-85
Thursday- Day 4 (My homeroom has Art)
Reading- study vocab words for "How Night Came from the Sea", Complete comprehension side of homework worksheet
Grammar-Complete Linking verb side of homework worksheet
Social Studies- Make sure that vocabulary, people and places are defined for Lesson 4. There has been an extension for time lines.......All time lines are due on Monday!!
Spelling- Study for test tomorrow
