Homework for Mrs. Fey's Classes, Sept. 2~5 2014

Monday- No School

Tuesday- Day 5 (My homeroom has Library)
Reading- Study "Because of Winn-Dixie" vocabulary words on pg. 41.  This paper should be in your folder that you keep for my classes.
Grammar- We reviewed Declarative (.) and Interrogative (?) sentences today. There will be a quiz on Thursday
Spelling- Study list for test tomorrow
**Please remind your child that the homework notebook is very important and should be kept in their bookbag so that it is brought home each night.

Wednesday- Day 1 (My homeroom has Gym)
Reading- Please look over vocabulary words for "Because of Winn-Dixie" to prepare for the test that will be on Friday
Grammar- The students have a workdheet in their folder to complete on Declarative and Interrogative sentences.  There will be a quiz on this material tommorrow. Students will need to be able to write a sentence with a capital and end mark on the quiz and they will also have to identify if the sentence is Interrogative (?) or Declarative (.)
Spelling- No homework, we took a test today


Thursday- Day 2 (My homeroom has Music)
Reading-  Review vocab words, test tomorrow on "Because of Winn- Dixie" complete sequencing worksheet about Pizza!
Grammar-*****Quiz today on Declarative (.) and Interrogative (?) sentences*****

Friday-  Day 3 (My homeroom has Computers)
Reading-*****Test on "Because of Winn-Dixie*****

We will meet our Kindergarten Reading Buddies today!  We will read to them every Friday morning :)  We will also look forward to spending the day with them at the Fall Festival in October!
