Homework for Mrs. Fey's Classes, Sept. 21~25, 2015

Monday- Day 5
Reading- There will be a vocabulary and comprehension test on "Red Kayak" on Wednesday
Please study the worksheet with the vocabulary words and definitions that can be found in the red folder.
Spelling- The students have the new list in their red folder and also a Spelling worksheet completed in class to use while studying their new words. The pretest will be on Wednesday this week. All incorrect words on the pretest must be written 5X.  Students not earning 100% on the pretest will take the test on Friday.
Grammar- There will be a short grammar quiz on subjects and predicates on Friday
Social Studies-  We are working on a project based on the 7 continents IN CLASS.  I plan to finish this project with the students by Friday. This project will count as a grade so I expect them to do their best. I will be giving a short quiz on Thursday in which the students will need to know the 7 continents and be able to make a compass rose. There are worksheets in the green folder to study to prepare for the quiz on Thursday this week.

Tuesday-Day 6
Reading- Study Vocabulary for "Red Kayak"
Grammar- we are learning about subjects and predicates
Spelling- Write each word 3X each study for pretest tomorrow
Social Studies- No homework, we are working on a project in classs

Wednesday- Day 7
Reading-*****Test******
Spelling-****Pretest***** Write any corrections 5 times each! This is to be done on the back of the test paper.
Grammar-Complete worksheet on Subjects and predicates
Social Studies- review the 7 continents and compass rose using worksheets in green folder to prepare for quiz tomorrow

Thursday- Day 8
social studies-****Quiz****
Reading- worksheet on homographs
Grammar- study worksheets on Subjects and predicates in red folder to prepare for quiz tomorrow
Spelling-Study list if taking test on Friday

Friday- Day 9
Grammar-****quiz on subjects and predicates*****
Spelling- ****Test***** (If you did  not have 100% on pretest)
No homework, enjoy your weekend!
