Homework for Mrs. Fey's Classes Jan. 23~27, 2017

Monday-
Reading- the students have review sheets in their Red Reading folder to look over to prepare them for the Unit 1 Reading Test on Thursday. The sheets review four kinds of sentences and Subjects and Predicates.
Grammar-  The students have a worksheet titled "Staying on Topic" to finish for homework. It is located in the Red Folder.
Spelling- Please write the new words on our list 3X each and study week 2, dictation sentences. The Spelling test will be on Friday.
Social Studies- Students need to choose an important person from history to do a biography report on. Each student has a list of important people to choose from in their Green Social Studies Folder. This paper must be turned in on Thursday.

Tuesday-
Reading- review worksheets to prepare for Unit 1 Reading test ~independent dependent clauses . These sheets are in the Red Folder. We started the Indep./Dep. clause packet today but only got to finish the first page. We will finish the rest tomorrow.
Grammar-none
Spelling- Write 10 sentences on worksheet. This sheet is in the red foldere. Study for test on Friday
Social Studies - Pick person off of list to research. This is to be done by Thursday

Wednesday-
Reading- Look over review packets and clauses, types of sentences , common and proper nouns to prepare for Unit 1 Test tomorrow. The packets are in the Red Folder
Grammar-Complete compound, complex and collective noun worksheet in Red Folder
Social Studies- Pick a person to research from list. This list is in green folder for Biography project. The paper is in the green folder.
Spelling- Study. Test on Friday


Thursday-
Reading- we will begin taking Unit 1 Test
Social Studies- Now that the students have selected a person to research , we are going to start the second step of the biography project. The students received a packet to complete on their chosen person. I will explain more about it tomorrow and answer any questions. The packet is due Feb 10 and is in the student's Green Folder
Spelling- complete practice test/study for test tomorrow




Friday-
Reading- Finish Unit 1 test
Spelling-***TEST***
Social Studies- work on biography project
